The latest update of 5 Minute Clinical Consult is on the AppStore! So what’s the big deal? Don’t we have over 400 titles available and growing? Yes, that’s true. But let’s look at the new features on this latest release.
- Fresh, sleek look and feel – complete with modern, flat and bright.
- Locate the topic you are looking up in the fastest possible manner. Depending upon the context and what is currently going on, you can choose the immediate option available.
- Choose from multiple types of index lists, or Table of Contents.
- Easily switch between the recently viewed topics. Use the history to quickly go back and forth. No need to keep entering search terms repeatedly.
- Use the Launch icon to directly go to the desired location – such as searching a term, going to the last opened topic, browse your favorite topics or directly show a list of recently viewed items.
- Add notes – in full flourish, good enough to create a powerful web page!
- Annotate the topic to write your notes, scribble, doodle or type text.
- Add Voice memos to a given topic. Enables to quickly record some thoughts so as to review them any time you are checking up that topic again, whether it is in few days or few months later.
- Share or print notes to help with the study.
- Spotlight Search from the Home screen – now the topic search results are offered right on the home screen. If you are searching for a term such as “Atrial” or “Zollinger”, you will see them right on the home screen – tap on the entry and you will see the information right there, in a fraction of a second!
